Affiliate disclosure
Escrix is operated by Nabus AS, a Norwegian company. This page describes how commercial relationships work on this site, and what they are never allowed to change.
Current status
Escrix participates in the eBay Partner Network. From 9 August 2026, the “search on eBay” action shown after you confirm a Frame ID is an affiliate link: if you follow it and go on to buy something, eBay may pay Escrix a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and the price you see is the price you would see without the link. No other outbound link on this site is an affiliate link — the ordinary web search is a plain search, and the optician route is not a commercial relationship at all.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a link that identifies Escrix as the referrer. If you follow one and buy something, the retailer may pay Escrix a commission. The price you pay is the same either way — the commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.
How they are marked
Each affiliate link is labelled where it appears — not only on this page. The “what to do next” section carries the disclosure directly above the links themselves, so you can tell before you click, not afterwards. The eBay link is declared to search engines as rel="sponsored nofollow". The ordinary web search is not marked that way, because it is not sponsored — marking it would be as misleading as leaving the eBay link unmarked.
What a commission will never change
The tool reports the markings it reads from your photographs. Those values come from a deterministic parser reading transcribed text, and you confirm every one of them before anything is accepted. No commercial relationship can alter a model code, a colour code or a measurement in millimetres.
Escrix will not present a frame as compatible with your measurements in order to earn a commission. The markings printed on your frame are not a guarantee that another frame will fit, and no partner link changes that.
Advertising
This site displays no advertising and uses no advertising networks.
Payment for inclusion
Escrix does not accept payment to be featured, recommended or ranked. If a partner is added, it will be because it does something the measurements actually enable — such as fitting new lenses into the frame you already own.
FTC compliance
In accordance with US Federal Trade Commission guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, Escrix discloses material connections to any product or service referenced on this site.
Privacy
Commercial relationships do not affect how your photographs are handled. See the privacy notes — photos are analyzed in memory and are not stored after the request completes. Your photos and confirmed Frame ID are not stored by Escrix and are not included in Escrix’s event logging. If you choose an external search, the search terms shown in the link are sent to the selected search provider; nothing is sent until you click.
